As I am a huge Legally Blonde (The Movie) fan, I looked forward to seeing the Broadway musical version of the movie when it was shown on MTV last fall. It was… pretty cute.

But that’s not why we’re here. We’re here to tell you that Laura Bell Bundy, who played our fabulous Elle Woods in the musical, is moving on, so the search is on for the next Elle Woods. And the casting will be done before our very eyes. Haylie Duff will host the hunt for the new Broadway star in a new reality series on MTV (she also serves as executive producer of the show).

Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods premieres Monday, June 2 on MTV (10 pm ET).
